Proofreading & Editing Services
Why hire an editor?
As of January 2018, there were approximately 12 million books listed on Amazon alone. As an indie author, wouldn’t you like your book to rise above that crowd? In a sea of self-published books, the ones that stand out are those with writing that is clear, consistent, and error free. You’ve put so much effort into telling your story, why not go the extra mile to ensure it’s the best it can possibly be?
By the time your manuscript is finished, you’ve spent so many hours staring at those pages that you’ve become blind to any errors. The best thing you can do for your book is to have another set of eyes go over it before you send it out into the world. A professional editor will correct typos, misspelled words, grammatical errors, continuity and consistency issues, and more, all while preserving your voice and style.
We all know that Amazon reviews are gold for indie authors, and one sure way to earn negative reviews is to release a book riddled with errors. A professional edit will ensure that the book you release is the best that it can be.
“A good book isn’t written, it’s rewritten.”
