We are enjoying the cooler weather here this weekend, and so are the squirrels. They are burying nuts all over our yard, and yesterday they were raiding the dogwood tree for berries. I took my camera outside to see if I could get any shots of them, but they scattered as soon as I stepped out the door.
I settled for a few shots of my daughter playing “fetch” with our cat, Bandit. If you can call it fetch when the fetcher only runs after the ball, attacks it, then lays down and looks over at you so you will come throw it again.
I call this one “Stalking the Wild Tennis Ball.”
He did make time to stop for some love, though. I love how he curls his whiskers when he is happy.
And this one is always up for some pictures. Such a ham. But a sweet one.
I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather like we are. We are so ready for fall! Bring on the apple cider, bonfires, and crisp leaves!
